Trent Duffy

Trent Duffy has worked in Washington for over 30 years, with service in top positions in the White House, the U.S. Congress and in the private sector.

Engagements include:

  • A national property management company subject to congressional investigations and investigative reporting
  • A major trade association representing large and small business in the health and natural products industry
  • Rebranding a major financial technology trade association to reflect public policy and reputational objectives.

Trent most recently co-founded a successful public relations firm focusing on issue advocacy, coalition management, crisis management, executive media preparation, and other communications consulting services. Prior to co-leading this firm, Trent worked for President George W. Bush as Deputy Assistant to the President and Deputy Press Secretary, serving as chief spokesperson for the President on economic policy, regulatory policy energy, health care, homeland security, telecommunications, taxes and trade. Trent regularly conducted the Official White House Briefing for the White House press corps.

Before his service in the West Wing, Trent was Communications Director to the White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB), developing and leading government-wide communications strategies for the president’s budgets. Trent also worked as Communications Director for the House Ways and Means Committee and as Press Secretary for the Republican National Committee.
