Niel Golightly brings to clients over 25 years of experience leading corporate reputation, crisis and sustainability strategies in Fortune 100 companies across multiple sectors. His particular expertise lies in addressing complex stakeholder challenges in high profile global industries dealing with controversial social and environmental issues.

Niel has worked with energy, automotive, advertising, retail and software firms to assess and address reputational risks; develop strategies for brand and organizational transformations; build crisis readiness; and position C-suite leaders. Niel also brings to his work an executive coaching background which emphasizes deep understanding of client priorities, styles, challenges and leadership strengths with an eye toward establishing the client's thought leadership and enhancing stakeholder relationships.

Prior to joining the firm, Niel served as Chief Communications Officer at The Boeing Company and at Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. He also held numerous senior communications and sustainability roles at Royal Dutch Shell and Ford Motor Company in both the United States and Europe. In 2018 he served on secondment to the Mayor of Houston to support the city's recovery from Hurricane Harvey. He began his career as a U.S. Navy fighter pilot and later special assistant to the Secretary of the Navy and to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Colin Powell.

Niel is a liberal arts graduate of Cornell University.
