Michele's work has focused on the intersection of policy and markets, leading domestic and international public affairs, reputation rebuilding and crisis communications initiatives across multiple sectors, including financial services, energy and manufacturing.

Engagements and prior roles include leading reputation rebuild for a large global financial institution, developing and executing a communications and public affairs strategy for a rapidly growing fin tech company and advising the CEO and senior executives of a professional services firm on issues management and CEO transition.

Previously, Michele was Global Head of Corporate Relations and a member of the Management Committee at Morgan Stanley, where she led communications, digital engagement and philanthropy and advised senior leaders on strategic communications and managing reputational risk. She previously co-headed the DC office of the Brunswick Group. Michele served in senior communications roles in the George W. Bush Administration, as Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs and Director of Policy Planning at the Treasury Department from 2006-2009 and Deputy Assistant to the President responsible for communications at the National Security Council from 2005-2006. Her Congressional experience includes serving as Communications Director to the House Majority Leader.
