Brooke Gordon is a Partner and Chief Operating Officer for North America. For nearly two decades she has worked with companies large and small to provide strategic communications counsel at critical moments, as well as to help them build their reputations and tell their stories effectively to all of their constituencies. As COO, Brooke works with the rest of the North American leadership team to set and execute the firm's strategy, manage operations and retain, develop and engage our team.

Brooke has significant experience working with PE firms and supporting their portfolio companies. She has advised Permira on its U.S. communications and transactions since 2006, and provides ongoing counsel to The Carlyle Group, Great Hill Partners and Bridge Growth Partners, among others.

Brooke specializes in capital markets transaction communications. Her experience has recently included advising IRI on its merger with NPD; Syniverse on its strategic investment by Twilio, SPAC merger announcement and subsequent termination; and Stanley Black & Decker on its sale of its security business.

She also has extensive experience advising on crises, business transformations, litigation and management changes, both planned and unplanned. Assignments have included advising: a major multi-national consumer product company on a data security incident; Herbalife Nutrition on its investigation by and settlement with the FTC and defense against Pershing Square; a large public enterprise technology company on a significant reorganization and reduction in force; and Martha Stewart in connection with her indictment and conviction.

Brooke holds a B.S. degree from Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications.
