Rory King is a Vice President in the London office. He has advised public and private companies on all aspects of their strategic communications including mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, crisis situations, internal communications, leadership transitions and ongoing corporate positioning. In particular, he has considerable experience working with private equity firms and their portfolio companies.
Prior to joining the firm, Rory spent over three years as a Consultant at Montfort Communications, a London-based financial and corporate public relations agency, where he helped to build the financial services practice. During that time, he worked on strategic communications programs for Coller Capital, Gresham House, Lion Capital, ICU, AXA Venture Partners, Permira and Stonehage Fleming.
Previously, Rory spent five years at MHP Communications where his experience spanned a range of sectors including financial services, technology, media, consumer and retail industries. Notable clients included General Atlantic, H.I.G. Capital, Bloomberg, Rabobank, C&J Clarks, ghd, Neptune Investment Management, Newton Asset Management, Thompson Reuters, Oxford Instruments and Card Factory.
Rory began his career in New York working on brand campaigns in the consumer sector. He has a B.A. (Hon) in Politics and Social Anthropology from the University of Edinburgh.
