Liz Zale is a Managing Director in the New York office. She advises public and private companies and educational institutions in high-profile situations including crisis and reputation management, equity and debt market offerings, mergers and acquisitions, cybersecurity incident preparedness and response, litigation support, shareholder activism and executive transitions. Liz’s corporate experience leading investor relations, communications and marketing functions and as a strategy consultant includes technology, financial services, real estate, education, media and retail.

- Proxy contest and strategic communications support for ADP
- Activist preparedness and response for a global retailer
- Advising Invitation Homes on its merger with Starwood Waypoint Homes
- Cybersecurity incident planning and response for law firms, health care, financial services clients
- Executive transition and crisis communications support for a technology company
Previously, Liz was SVP of Corporate Affairs, Investor Relations and Communications at Simon Property Group; SVP of Investor Relations at Nielsen, where she created the investor relations program post-IPO; Vice President and Global Head of Investor Relations at Moody’s Corporation; and Senior Manager and head of Investor and Public Relations for DealerTrack from its IPO. Liz has also led marketing and communications functions as Vice President of Digital Marketing and Strategy for Michaels Stores; Director of Marketing for Columbia Business School Executive Education; and Senior Manager, Corporate Marketing for DealerTrack.
Liz graduated magna cum laude from Middlebury College and earned her M.B.A at Columbia Business School. She was recognized through Institutional Investor’s annual survey as 2012 Best Investor Relations Professional, Business Services and 2013 Best Investor Relations Program, Real Estate.
