Kelly Langmesser is a Vice President in the New York City office. She advises clients on reputation management, crisis communications and issues management, and cybersecurity preparedness and incident response.
Prior to joining the firm, she spent over seven years as a spokeswoman for the FBI where she handled communications strategy and media matters for major cyber and terrorism investigations in New York City. Her work included advising on the communications from the FBI regarding the Sony Pictures cyber-attack and the J.P. Morgan intrusion. She also completed two special assignments in FBI headquarters in Washington, D.C., first as the lead communications strategist for the cyber division and more recently, creating communications strategies for the Foreign Influence Task Force. Kelly maintains a secret security clearance with the FBI.
Previously, Kelly worked for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Washington, D.C., where she held roles as a writer and editor for both the Office of Congressional Affairs and the Office of Public Affairs. She has also served as a staff assistant to U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow in Michigan.
Kelly earned a M.S. in Public Relations and Corporate Communication from New York University and received a B.A. in Political Theory and Constitutional Democracy from Michigan State University.
