PAUL SCARPETTA

Paul Scarpetta is a Principal. Since joining the firm, Mr. Scarpetta has provided strategic communications and investor relations counsel in a variety of situations, including earnings announcements, investor meetings, mergers and acquisitions, management changes, proxy contests, and restructurings.

Mr. Scarpetta joined Sard Verbinnen in January 2008 with more than 20 years of experience in financial analysis and investor relations. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Scarpetta spent ten years as an analyst with institutional asset management firms. From 1991-1998, Mr. Scarpetta worked at Freddie Mac, where he held a number of positions including Vice President of Financial Planning and Shareholder Relations. In 1995, Mr. Scarpetta was cited in an Institutional Investor Magazine article entitled “America’s Best Investor Relations Officers”.

Prior to Freddie Mac, Mr. Scarpetta was Vice President of Corporate Planning at First Fidelity Bancorp and a Senior Account Officer at Citibank.

Mr. Scarpetta holds a BS degree from the University of Virginia and an MBA from Northwestern University.
