Liz Zale is a Managing Director in the New York office. She brings expertise in investor relations, communications, business strategy, digital marketing and corporate affairs from more than 25 years of experience in media, technology, retail, real estate and financial services companies.
Most recently, Liz was Vice President of Digital Marketing, Strategy and Education for Michaels Stores, where she was responsible for the company’s digital assets. She led strategy, front end development and asset creation for Michaels.com, mobile app, social media and influencers, live and edited videos, and managed digital media spend and partnerships for display and search advertising.
Before joining Michaels, Liz spent 10 years as an investor relations leader for large and mid cap public companies including Simon Property Group, where she served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs, Investor Relations and Communications; Nielsen, where she launched the investor relations program post-IPO as Senior Vice President of Investor Relations; and as Vice President and Global Head of Investor Relations at Moody’s Corporation during the financial crisis.
Liz received an M.B.A. from Columbia University Graduate School of Business and a B.A., magna cum laude, from Middlebury College. She was recognized by the investment community through the annual Institutional Investor survey as 2012 Best Investor Relations Professional, Business Services and 2013 Best Investor Relations Program, Real Estate.
