Lisa Green is a Managing Director in the New York office. Lisa advises public and private companies on ongoing corporate positioning, executive changes and media relations, as well as crisis situations and litigation support. Lisa also has extensive experience in media and presentation preparation, coaching executives ahead of on-camera appearances, investor and analyst calls and meetings, and other significant public speaking situations.
Most recently, Lisa was Communications Director for Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, where she launched the firm’s video production efforts, building an innovative video library including segments on thought leadership, pro bono efforts and recruiting.
Before joining Paul, Weiss, Lisa spent 15 years at NBC News, first as a lawyer, then as a senior producer for Weekend Today and on-air legal analyst. She continues to serve as a legal analyst for NBC News and MSNBC and has made more than 150 appearances as a guest and substitute host on programs including Today, NBC Nightly News, CBS This Morning and CNBC’s Squawk Box. She is the author of On Your Case (William Morrow), a legal guide for women.
Lisa began her career as a reporter for the Dow Jones News Service and Barron’s. After earning her law degree, Lisa practiced law with Debevoise & Plimpton, litigating cases involving securities fraud, employment law, First Amendment, new media, and copyright claims.
Lisa received a J.D. from New York University and a B.A., cum laude, from The University of Pennsylvania. She serves on the board of the Nora Magid Mentorship Prize, which assists Penn graduates pursuing careers in journalism and writing.
