Gloria Labbad is a Vice President in the New York office. She assists clients with communications strategies in special situations, with a focus on bankruptcy and restructuring, litigation support and other sensitive legal and reputational matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Gloria practiced law in the complex commercial litigation departments of global law firms Dentons LLP and McGuireWoods LLP. Gloria has advised a broad range of clients on all aspects of state and federal litigation. Her areas of representation include bankruptcy and restructuring, financial services, consumer class action defense, cybersecurity, product liability, and labor and employment. Gloria also has substantial civil and criminal trial experience. She has defended the depositions of executive officers, prepared witnesses for direct and cross examination, and assisted with voir dire and jury selection.
Gloria also served as a judicial law clerk to two federal judges, the Honorable Richard A. Jones and the Honorable John E. Steele. As a law clerk, she spent several years managing litigation involving the Yellowstone Club Liquidating Trust and Credit Suisse.
Gloria holds a J.D. from the UCLA School of Law and a B.A. from the University of California Berkeley.
